Season 1 of Disney+’s successful first Marvel Cinematic Universe television series came to an end on March 5…and fans are already wondering, will there be a Season 2? Warning: Slight spoilers follow.
Will there be a WandaVision Season 2?
While episode 9 is titled “The Series Finale,” Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige isn’t ruling out the possibility of a second season. “I’ve been at Marvel too long to say a definite ‘No’ to anything as far as a second season of WandaVision,” Feige said at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in February via Deadline. “Lizzie Olsen will go from WandaVision to the Doctor Strange film.” “The fun of the MCU is obviously all the crossover we can do between series, between films. So it will vary based on the story. Sometimes it will go into a season 2, sometimes it will go into a feature and back into a series,” he added. “Sometimes, and yet to be announced, we’re thinking of and planning second seasons for some of the upcoming series.”
Who would be in the WandaVision cast for Season 2?
Of course, we’d need Wanda, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and hopefully, we’d have Vision, played by Paul Bettany. There’s a possibility we’d see Wanda’s “twins,” Billy and Tommy, played by Billy Maximoff and Jett Klyne, respectively. As fans, we hope to see more of Kathryn Hahn (Agatha Harkness). The Season 1 cast also included Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis) and Randall Park (Jimmy Woo).
When does Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness come out?
On Good Morning America, Olsen previously revealed that WandaVision “is a natural progression into what happens” in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Feige also said at TCA that Wanda will go from the Disney+ series to the Doctor Strange sequel, which is currently scheduled to be released March 25, 2022.

What happened in the WandaVision Season 1 finale?
After learning that she is the Scarlet Witch, whose power “exceeds that of the Sorcerer Supreme” a.k.a Doctor Strange, Wanda defeated fellow witch Agatha Harkness with the use of Runes. “You have no idea what you unleashed. You’re going to need me,” Agatha told Wanda, before she sentenced Agatha to life as a nosey neighbor in Westview. While the witches battled, Vision had his own fight taking on the White Vision, whom he helped tap into his memory storage. In the end, in order to save Westview, Wanda had to ultimately sacrifice her family, Vision and their twin sons, Billy and Tommy. With the Hex gone, Wanda is left standing in the foundation of the home she and Vision were going to grow old in, which also happens to be the site of where she first created the Hex. The post-credits scene shows Wanda living in an isolated cabin, astral projecting—like Marvel fans have seen Doctor Strange do—and reading the Darkhold. The scene ends with Wanda hearing the voices of her sons calling out for help! Next, the best order to watch the Marvel movies!
