With about a month to go before school starts, Netflix is serving up plenty of kid-friendly titles—including the Netflix original, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, based on the popular TV series. Some cute animated series for younger viewers are also on the way, including Deepa & Anoop, a Netflix original show about a little girl’s adventures with her color-changing pet elephant at the Mango Manor hotel, as well as Big Tree City, a British series about a team of animal heroes keeping their city safe. On the adult side, some feel-good 2000s rom-coms are on the way, including Bridget Jones’s Diary, Miss Congeniality, and Monster-in-Law. Season six of Riverdale is also coming to Netflix in August, as well as season three of Locke & Key. Throughout August, Netflix will also release four new installments of its acclaimed documentary series, Untold, which delves into some of the most gripping controversies in the world of sports, from football to basketball to sailing.
