It was announced earlier this year that Willis, 67, was diagnosed with aphasia, a disorder that impairs cognitive abilities. His family shared the news in a heartfelt message back in March, where it was revealed that the Die Hard star would be retiring from acting.  Now, his longtime pal and co-star in The Expendables, Stallone, 76, is giving an update on Willis’ condition, telling The Hollywood Reporter in a recent interview that it has been “difficult” for Willis since receiving the diagnosis.  “Bruce is going through some really, really difficult times,” the Rocky alum stated. “So he’s been sort of incommunicado.”  “That kills me,” he added. “It’s so sad.”  When Willis’ diagnosis was first revealed to the public, his family members released a joint statement on social media, calling the situation a “challenging time” for all of them.  “We are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support,” the statement read at the time. “We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.”  “As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up’ and together we plan to do just that,” the family ended the message, which was signed by Willis’ wife, Emma Hemming Willis, ex-wife Demi Moore, and his daughters, Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, Tallulah, 28, Mabel, 10 and Evelyn, 8.  Months later, Emma opened up about coping with her husband’s health diagnosis, calling her grief “paralyzing” at times.  “I’m learning how to live along side it,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, in honor of National Grief Awareness Day. “As my step-daughter @scoutlaruewillis told me, grief is the deepest and purest form of love. I hope you find some comfort in that too 💞.”  She concluded her message with some hashtags for National Grief Awareness Day, which takes place on Aug. 30 every year. More News:
