The tattoo removal service company, called NAAMA Studios, posted on social media a couple of weeks ago announcing, “We’ll remove your Kanye tattoos for free,” with a clever poster showing the word “BYE” tattooed on someone’s arm, with the “B” lasered off so that it spells “YE.” The caption reads, “Yeezy come, yeezy go⚡️Got a #kanyewest tattoo? Tag us⬇️.” Many loved the smart advertising, with one person commenting, “Give your marketer a raise. This is hilarious.” “Amazing!! Well done,” another wrote. The company later shared a video of a customer getting a portrait of West removed, captioning the post, “When you have a tattoo inspired by someone you admire and they end up making headlines for all the wrong reasons… at NAAMA we offer an empowering, empathetic, high-tech tattoo clearing experience. If you want a change, we’re here to help.” Many people could relate to the woman in the video, with replies like, “Glad I wasn’t the only one. Thankyous 😂,” and “Me next please 😂😂😂.” The tattoo removal studio’s announcement comes in response to West’s intensely antisemitic and hateful behavior, which has now gotten him banned from Twitter twice. He has also been dropped by many brands that previously had partnerships with him, most notably Adidas, which was increasingly pushed by the public to cut ties with the rapper until the company finally did. According to Van Lathan Jr., an employee who worked at TMZ in 2018 when West notoriously made statements saying that slavery “sounds like a choice,” the 45-year-old also shared antisemitic comments during that interview, which were edited out. Speaking to Rachel Lindsay on their podcast, Higher Learning with Van Lathan and Rachel Lindsay, Lathan Jr. said of West’s recent antisemitic statements, via CNN, “I mean, I was taken aback because that type of antisemitic talk is disgusting. It’s like, I’m taken aback any time anyone does that, right? But as far as [West], I knew that that was in him because when he came to TMZ, he said that stuff and they took it out of the interview…It wasn’t my decision.” More News:
