After that, both Jennings and Bialik will split hosting duties as their schedules allow through the end of the calendar year. Bialik also stars in the Fox series Call Me Kat. She was a guest host in May and June for two weeks. Since Alex Trebek passed away, she was the second woman to guest host Jeopardy!. And this past August she was named as host of Jeopardy! primetime specials and spinoff series. “It is an unbelievable honor to even be mentioned in the same sentence as Jeopardy!, Bialik told the Today show back in March. “And I’m especially honored to be able to represent women who love game shows and facts and all things geek—especially when they combine with something as entertaining as Jeopardy!” Meanwhile, Jennings who won 74 consecutive games, broke records as having the longest winning streak in Jeopardy! history. A supervising producer on the show, he guest hosted the show back in January. Since Trebek’s passing in November, Jeopardy! has featured a number of guest hosts including Anderson Cooper, Katie Couric, Robin Roberts, Savannah Guthrie, Bill Whitaker, George Stephanopoulos, Aaron Rodgers, LeVar Burton and David Faber.
